Not as much grip as I was hoping on muddy slopes - treads fill with mud very easily. Perhaps I should have got propper off-road tyres. Otherwise work very well.

Winter tyres on a X-drive 1 series- M135- makes it drive on a wet road like its a dry road, game changer for grip so therefore safety. Its not just about driving faster but braking distances and avoiding trouble you can stop quicker than everybody else. These tyres are brilliant in the wet- less good in slush and not bad in snow. No real compromise until the temp gets to 10+ degrees, then they start to get warm and squirm a bit.

Great tyres, superb grip although they make me sound like a boy racer driving off, rather than a 50 something woman!! But I would recommend them to anyone driving awful country lanes all day.

Good tyres, but sadly I've suffered punctures in both tyres during the last month, both caused by screws picked up from the road surface - so not the fault of the tyre
